Here are answers to the most common questions from clinics, providers, and patients using Futurum Health AI. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, reach out at info@futurumhealth.ai.
Yes — Futurum is fully HIPAA compliant by default. Every patient interaction is protected with end-to-end encryption, role-based access controls, and automatic audit logging. You don’t need to configure or enable compliance; it’s built into the platform architecture. If your clinic or organization requires a Business Associate Agreement (BAA), contact info@futurumhealth.ai to request one.
No. AI Scribe handles documentation — capturing conversations, transcribing medical terminology, and structuring notes into SOAP format — so your staff can focus on patients instead of paperwork. Your team remains responsible for reviewing, annotating, and approving all generated notes before they are pushed to the EHR. AI Scribe eliminates the documentation burden; it does not replace the people providing care.
Futurum is building toward global EMR integration. For information about specific EHR systems supported at launch or on the roadmap, contact info@futurumhealth.ai. The team can confirm compatibility with your current system and provide a timeline for integration availability.
AI Scribe is built for clinical-grade accuracy. Futurum’s transcription and documentation capabilities are built on Amazon Bedrock and tested using real physician feedback and real-world clinical validation. The platform accurately captures medical terminology, identifies key symptoms, and structures notes into proper SOAP format. Clinicians retain the ability to review, edit, and annotate all generated notes before submission.
Yes. The Futurum patient app works independently of any clinic subscription. You can sync your wearables through Apple Health or Google Fit, track symptoms, and generate pre-visit health reports on your own. Reports and health summaries can be shared with any provider, regardless of whether that provider’s clinic uses Futurum.
No. AI Medical Coder flags accurate billing codes extracted from visit documentation for physician review — it does not submit codes automatically. Every suggested code is presented for clinician approval before any submission occurs. This keeps your team in control of billing accuracy and compliance.
Futurum supports Apple Health and Google Fit, which means any device that syncs to either of those platforms is compatible — including Apple Watch and a wide range of fitness trackers and medical devices. The Health Chronicler AI aggregates data from all connected sources into one continuous health profile.
Never. Patient data belongs to the patient and is never sold to third parties. Futurum handles all patient data in accordance with HIPAA requirements, with full end-to-end encryption and strict access controls. Data is used only to power the features you and your patients interact with directly.
Most clinics are operational within a day. Basic account setup, onboarding, and access provisioning for your staff are designed to be fast. EHR integration timelines may vary depending on your existing system — contact info@futurumhealth.ai for a specific estimate based on your setup.
No. Clinical Insights AI is a decision-support tool. It analyzes visit data, flags diagnostic possibilities based on symptom patterns, and cross-references patient history — but all diagnoses and clinical decisions remain the clinician’s responsibility. Futurum gives you better information to work with; it does not make clinical decisions for you.

Clinicians can review, edit, and annotate all AI-generated notes directly in the Futurum dashboard before they are pushed to the EHR. No note is submitted without clinician review. If a generated note contains an error or requires clarification, make your edits in the dashboard — the corrected version is what gets pushed to your records.
